European IT provider Uni Systems has acquired a minority stake in the Luxembourg deeptech company Compellio to enhance its presence in the asset tokenization market.

Compellio and Uni Systems aim to accelerate the adoption of blockchain and tokenization technologies by optimizing engineering efforts and assisting in the control of the total cost of ownership through this strategic partnership.

“Modern IT systems require the capacity to rapidly and unambiguously confirm the source of information and assets. Asset tokenization is vital in this context. Our collaboration with Compellio expedites the adoption of blockchain for the advantage of our clients in a variety of sectors, thereby improving efficiency and managing overall ownership costs,” said Yiannis Loumakis, CEO of Uni Systems.

Compellio’s patented Tokenization-as-a-Service platform, Compellio Gateway, simplifies integration with existing enterprise systems, allowing companies to benefit from blockchain technology. This platform provides cross-system interoperability and privacy-preserving solutions, streamlining the next generation of internet services.

The two companies have already started collaborating on several projects, targeting sectors such as banking, logistics, energy, and intellectual property protection. With this partnership, both Uni Systems and Compellio are positioning themselves to lead the charge in advancing blockchain technology and asset tokenization across Europe.
