The Luxembourg Business Angel Network (LBAN) has announced a strategic partnership with the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) as part of its new Space Vertical initiative. This collaboration is designed to support startups and investors looking to explore opportunities in the rapidly growing space sector.

With the space industry rapidly expanding, LBAN and the LSA are keen to keep bringing more investments to startups active in the industry.

“This collaboration will open new avenues for investment and development, positioning Luxembourg at the forefront of the space economy,’ said LBAN President Michel Rzonzef.

The newly launched Space Vertical will focus on identifying and supporting innovative startups in the space industry. LBAN aims to offer funding, mentorship, strategic guidance, and networking opportunities to help these ventures thrive. As part of the initiative, LBAN is committed to educating investors and the broader community on the investment potential within the space sector, promoting deeper engagement and understanding.

“We are committed to making strategic investments that not only yield financial returns but also enhance the capabilities of space technologies,” said Kyle Acierno, head of LBAN’s Space Vertical.

By supporting space startups, LBAN aligns with Luxembourg’s ambition to be a leader in the global space sector. The initiative aims to drive technological advancement, build a strong ecosystem for space companies, and extend support across Europe.
