The agency behind Luxembourg’s biggest tech event ICT Spring has entered into liquidation and will cease activity.

Docler Media Group, which has owned Farvest since 2018, announced that it would wind up the company and cease its activities.

“The context of the last few years and the scale of the Covid-19 crisis have had a considerable impact on Farvest’s profitability, and the recovery was not sufficient to sustain its activities,” the parent company said in a statement, adding that it had explored “multiple avenues to grow and sustain the business.”

Initially founded in 2000 by Fabien Amoretti, the company has organised a number of major conferences and award ceremonies for the technology sector with the most well-known being ICT Spring.

According to the press release, a “leading player in the Luxembourg events industry” is considering acquiring this event in order to maintain it in Luxembourg.

Docler Media Group confirmed that all outstanding events planned by Farvest have been cancelled.
