The key insights will be about ecosystem alignment and collaborations for maturing effective lab to market development strategies. The set of 8 panel sessions will address through different speakers and use cases how deeptech enablers are designed, operated and steered. Enablers such as science and technical resources, public and private financial capabilities, IP strategies as well as entrepreneurial talents accessibility. The DeepTech Ventures Summit will be the opportunity to discover some best practices of foreign deeptech ecosystems such as Belgium, France, Italy and Spain.
How will the summit explore new deeptech venture building models, and what best practices will be highlighted?
A specific session will be dedicated to deeptech venture building models. Panel speakers will share on the different factors triggering deeptech developments. The past decades applied models and lessons learned from deeptech engaged players (Funds managers, University and private research centers) will be highlighted. Speakers from various deeptech support background, tech transfer, public and private financing will expose the ongoing and future deeptech venture development practices.

What specific funding strategies and tools will be discussed to help deeptech entrepreneurs move from lab to market?
Two panel sessions will be dedicated to funding strategies. The funding tools that allow spin-offs/start-ups to adapt to the different technology maturation phases, to reach market testing and validation so as to progress to product market fit and growth stages. A first panel will focus on the lab to market public and private R&D and funding support schemes to support initial technology testing and proofing to reach MVP and diminish technical risks. A second panel will consider the after lab to market phase, the metrics and corresponding financing tools to ensure product industrialization and the go to market support phase.
How will the sessions on AI and quantum technologies address their impact on sectors like robotics, healthcare, and space?
This session will be dedicated on how technological deeptech enablers such as AI and quantum can bring measurable improvements in new technology developments such as in robotics, healthcare and space. Panelists will touch on how these support technologies allow us to explore, test and develop new functionalities at a much quicker speed than in the past. They will also cover the needed effective support infrastructures and schemes for entrepreneurs to access such enabling technological capabilities.
What practical advice and case studies will be shared to help attendees understand the importance of intellectual property in deeptech ventures?
The session dedicated to intellectual property will confront the point of views of experts from corporate, startups, university and venture fund backgrounds. They will expose how structured IP practices fosters (or not) opportunities for partnerships, licensing and investment for deeptech asset development.
