What motivated the creation of the DeepTech Ventures Summit in Luxembourg?
As a technology business incubator, we continuously observe the development of startups across emerging domains. One of the dynamic entrepreneurial areas which is continuously nurturing a significant number of young ambitious companies and leveraging related investments is the deeptech sector. The fundamental base of deeptech is scientific findings enabling technical and engineering breakthroughs. Deeptech leverages novel technologies to address substantial environmental, human, or industrial challenges and is characterized by uncertain R&D cycles that reinvent established models. Our mission at Technoport is to consolidate the effective resources and partners to support entrepreneurial initiatives across emerging deeptech domains. By organizing the DeepTech Ventures Summit in Luxembourg our objective is to question the competitiveness of the Luxembourgish deeptech eco-system and collaboratively work on those areas of improvement that will be discussed during the summit.
What types of deep tech innovations and companies will be showcased at the summit?
The DeepTech companies that will be promoted at the DeepTech Ventures Summit will be mainly local entities. The common factor shared by these companies is the deep investment in R&D activities that nurtures distinctive and competitive products. The deeptech companies operate in varied sectors such as, but not exclusively, in new materials, health, mobility and space.

How will the summit facilitate connections between startups, researchers, corporates, and investors?
The core scope of the DeepTech Ventures Summit is to facilitate the exchange of best practices, the dos and don’ts across a set of interactive panels. The panel speakers will be local as international organisations who will exchange and debate about the critical lab to market success factors such as technological support, talents or investment to name just a few topics. The shared objective across the various participants will be to take the opportunity of the summit to exchange about how to develop integrated networks of excellence for deeptech venturing.
Why should participants attend the DeepTech Ventures Summit, and what can they expect to gain?
The target audiences are organisations and aspirating entrepreneurs engaged in deeptech and aiming to share effective lab-to-market journeys. The summit will propose across 2 days a 3 phases experience for the audiences to grab personalized take aways. The day one will be dedicated to interactive panels covering critical success factors and a networking event will follow to allow one2one engagements. The day 2 will be dedicated to a demo day where the participants will have the opportunity of interacting with local deeptech entrepreneurs.
